Since the Clifton Park Center mall is dying and likely to be redeveloped anyway, why not take advantage of this opportunity to pressure the powers-that-be to create a REAL center for Clifton Park that will benefit and enhance the community, rather than merely serve regional shoppers with more superfluous mall-sprawl? Democray CAN work from the bottom up, and not always be controlled by people with money and political connections. What do you think?

Let's Press for a REAL Clifton Park Center

Since the Clifton Park Center mall is dying and likely to be redeveloped anyway, why not take advantage of this opportunity to pressure the powers-that-be to create a REAL center for Clifton Park: One that will benefit and enhance the community, rather than merely serve regional shoppers with more superfluous mall-sprawl? Democray CAN work from the bottom up, and not always be controlled by people with money and political connections. What do you think? Wouldn-t it be great to have a walkable, multi-ue streetscape where the CPC mall now sits? With all the sprawl in Clifton Park, is there room for just a little bit of real center for our community?
